Postdoctoral Residency in Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Psychology
Are you a soon to be or recent graduate from an accredited doctoral program in psychology and interested in advanced training in contemporary psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychology? We offer a one and two year postdoctoral residency in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychology. Our training focuses on both the internal and external reality of our patients. We approach psychoanalysis from a multicultural and contextual framework.
Year one training will focus on both contemporary relational and interpersonal psychoanalytic theory, as well as a contemporary object relations framework approach to psychotherapy. We will incorporate these traditions and principles into psychological assessment where appropriate.
The optional second year will continue to advance your training in these areas with the opportunity to develop your skills as a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic clinical supervisor.

Post-Master’s Fellowship Health Service Psychology
Are you a recent graduate from a master’s program in clinical or counseling psychology? Are you interested in advanced training in psychotherapy? Magnolia offers a two year post-master’s fellowship to help you further develop your skills in the practice of psychotherapy and psychological assessment from a relationally-orientated, multicultural, and contextual framework.
Year one includes strong generalist training that focuses on developing an understanding of the psychotherapy relationship as foundation for practice. Throughout this year you will continue to build the foundational skills necessary to be a strong practitioner and develop advanced skills to excel.
Year two includes advanced training and supervision from a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic orientation. Year two fellows will gain a better understanding of contemporary psychodynamic and psychoanalytic traditions and how to apply this style to your clinical work.
